There are two ways to change the background of your web page.
Change the background right from Word
Click on Format > Background Click on the color that you would like or click on Fill Effects. There are several textures to choose from. Play around and have fun but make sure the reader can read your text on the background that you pick.
OR
Add a background from the web.
Search the web for specific background that you want Right click on the background that you want to use Click on Save Background As… Save the Image in the folder you made called "Web Page" Open your document in Word Click Format > Background > Fill Effects > Other Textures Find the background that you saved in your folder called "Web Page" and double click on it.

Desktop Publishing (http://desktoppublishing.com/open.html)- This site will give you backgrounds and buttons together in a set. Zena's Backgrounds and Boarders (http://www.hutchal.clara.net/zena/border.htm)- This site has some beautiful and unusual backgrounds.
