Welcome to Music

The music program here at Melville incorporates the Orff-Schulwerk approach. This is a multi-sensory exploration of listening, analyzing, performing, and improvising music. To learn more about this approach, click on the music button.

All fourth grade students will learn to play the Soprano Recorder. The recorder is a small wind instrument that has a long history. To learn more about the recorder, click on the picture.
