If you are able, save for them, a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go. But be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always. Take what they have thaught you with their dying and keep it with your own, and in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane. Take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind".

The thundering line of battle stands, And in the air death moans and sing; But day shall clasp him with strong hands; And night shall hold him in soft wings.

   *Vietnam Memorial Info*

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is one of the most inspiring walls. This wall represents on the controvurcial wars. The wall is for the Americans that lost their lives in Vietnam. The wall itself is located in Washington D.c.
Vietnam memorial is both visiable and invisable. You can see the Vietnam memorial itself. But there is an invus able bond to the wall. Emotions fly around, because people still linger on the lost of there loved ones. The Vietnam war was something that we all lingered by a little bit of strength and people where scared there countrys will get taken over by other countrys.

The wall's importance is a star key.
Not only is it a memorial but a symbol
of gains and losses. This is a remembrance
of the bravery of men and woman who risked
there lives for our country. When you think
about it, it makes you feel greatfull for what
strong country we have. Because of those
men and women other lives were spared,
and they choose to risk their lives to lead
us up victory. It makes us think that
sometimes war or fighting is going to be
a solution. But because of what honorable
things those men and women did it gives
us a sense of hope and security. But not
only did they lose their lives, but they gained
respect for their courage.

Jan Scruggs, who severed in Vietnam in the 199th Light Infatry Barigade, founded the idea of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. His philosophy on this idea is that he wanted the memorial to acknowledge and reconize the service and the scarifice of those who served in Vietnam. An Undergraduate at Yale University, Maya Ying Lin, created the design of the memorial. She was born in Athens, Ohio in 1959. Maya's idea was create a park within a park. She wanted a protected place that harmonized with its surrondings. Long with 58,229 listed on the memorail, and approximently 1,300 of them are still (M.I.A's); Maya's name is listed also, along with the officers of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and architects. They can be found on a apanel at the Apex of the curb along the top of the memorial. But the first name to be added to the wall was Captain C. Crammer of the army

There are two flags in Vietnam. The north and South, the reason there is two flags is because the north split with the south because the North is communist and the South is Democracy.
