PARENTS: If you are having trouble viewing pictures or the page counter using Internet Explorer, we have posted a possible solution. These directions do not apply to Netscape.  In the menu go to “tools”, select  “internet options”, then click on the tab that says  “advanced”.  Scroll down to “Microsoft VM” look for “Java console enabled”.  If it is not checked, click the box to check it, then click  “OK”.     Once you have checked it, you should not have to do this again.

Our team assigns daily homework in all subject areas.  There should be no more than 2 hours total per night.  We feel that homework reinforces or extends what is done during the school day.  It also encourages independence and responsibility. 
If students are regularly spending more time than this on daily homework please contact us.

Remember, a calendar style planner is required.  Parents are asked to check planners regularly to assure that homework is being completed and turned in on time.  Please let us know of any concerns you might have. 


Research...
Research is often required for school work, long term assignments and projects.  You will want to become familiar with the East Smithfield and Greenville Libraries if you have not already done so.   Keep in mind that it may take several days to obtain a book that you need if the library has to order it through Inter-Library Loan!
Books may be requested online using your CLAN card.
