III. B. Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Personnel

It shall be the duty of the Superintendent of Schools to assure that persons recommended for employment shall meet all qualifications established by law and by the West Warwick School Committee.

All efforts shall be directed at attracting the most qualified persons possible, and efforts shall be made to attract candidates from diversified educational, geographical, and vocational backgrounds.

All vacancies and new positions will be clearly posted within the school district, and, depending on the position, may be advertised on a state, regional or national level.
