IV. E. 7. Graduation Exercises

The culmination of the educational experiences for an individual is the awarding of a high school diploma at the annual graduation exercises. Traditionally, this event has signaled the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Because of the importance attributed to high school graduation, the West Warwick School Committee feels that only those individuals who have met the graduation requirements as set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Education and the West Warwick School Department shall be eligible to participate in the graduation exercises.
