V. A. 10. Student Responsibilities
Students have the responsibility to attend school regularly, to follow the rules and regulations of the school, and to do their best academically. Failing grades in four or more classes in a marking period constitute lack of academic responsibility. Those who do not meet these three responsibilities, in combination, and who have reached the age of sixteen will be subject to signing a contract of expectations and consequences. Failure to sign the contract or to meet expectations in the contract will result in a recommendation by the Principal to the Superintendent for suspension of the student by the School Committee for up to 180 days.
