August 20, 2007
Dear Parents,
Ashton School would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back for
the 2007-2008 school year. School will resume on September 5, 2007. Our
school hours are from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm. The doors open for students
at 8:15 am. Transportation schedules will be advertised in the local
newspapers towards the end of August.

Your child's teacher assignment letter was mailed yesterday, August 22,
2007. Please understand that teacher assignments may change as the
result of the teachers' job pool. If you have any questions, please feel
free to call the school at 333-0554.

At the present time the school is under construction. The main entrance
is not accessible; therefore an alternative student drop off location will
be posted. To access the main office please enter through the side door
near the playground.

We will be hosting a back to school celebration to be held on Tuesday,
September 4th from 12:15 - 1:00. This will provide parents and students
the opportunity to meet the classroom teachers, visit the classroom and
familiarize yourselves with the temporary changes due to the construction.

Enjoy the remainder of your summer. We look forward to the next school
year.

Sincerely,
Nidia Karbonik
Principal
