Videoconferencing technology allows two or more people at different locations to see and hear each other at the same time. In addition, to this two-way communication it is also possible to share Internet resources, library catalogs, video clips, presentations and demonstrate computer applications. This rich communication technology offers new possibilities for educators: It allows for real-time connections between schools, colleges, and libraries including access to formal instruction (courses, lessons, and tutoring); it allows students to connect with guest speakers, experts, and museums making multi-school project collaboration, professional activities such as meetings and interviews, and community events all feasible. Placing a video call is a lot like placing a telephone call. Once you connect with the appropriate technologies, you can see the other site and will be able to exchange information and collaborate via available options. Educators are becoming very excited about the endless educational possibilities this provides when used to enhance educational curriculums.
